A beautiful Rooster monument appeared in Belgorod. While it is in the exhibition hall ‘Rodina’, but it is possible that soon it will decorate one of the city streets. The author of the monument – Belgorod sculptor Anatoly Shishkov. According to him, he has created a rooster to the coming Year of Rooster. “A cock symbolizes the power, wealth, prosperity and pride of our region and Russia, it should go ahead. I did such a brave fighter, active rooster. It is looking for a victim. Hen”, – said Shishkov. According to the author, he found the model for the future sculpture at the local market, while he was watching birds.

The rooster is made of tinted copper knockout – a method in which first made the clay, and then concrete model, then a ductile metal sheets that can change shape under the blows of the hammer. The figure weighs about 100 kg, its height with pedestal – 170 cm.

After the exhibition, the guest of honor wants to put a rooster somewhere in a public place. No doubts, in the coming Year of Rooster, the sculpture will attract many visitors – to touch and be photographed with it. In addition, there is a special place on the back of sculpture – just to sit on it.
