Monument to homeless animals in Moscow
The monument is located on the main road, to the right of the main entrance to the Muzeon Park. The opening was timed to coincide with the World Animal Protection Day. The history of the creation of sculpture began four years ago. A competition was announced, out of the submitted works, one project was selected by popular vote. The work of the sculptor Natalia Sysenko won.

There is another monument to the mongrel in Moscow. A bronze dog named Boy is lying near the turnstiles at the Mendeleevskaya metro station. The sculpture is called “Empathy”. It immortalizes the image of a dog killed with a kitchen knife in an underground passage near a metro station.
