On June 22, 2015, a monument dedicated to juvenile prisoners of fascism appeared in the central park of the town of Lobnya near Moscow. It decorates the square near the Bell Tower monument. An eleven-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy with not childishly anxious faces, hand in hand, walk towards their destiny. The author of the monument is a sculptor, member of the Moscow Union of Artists Dmitry Yarmin.
The mayor of Lobnya Nikolai Grechishnikov spoke at the opening ceremony. “Our grief in these days is endless. We must remember the lessons of history and draw the correct conclusions from them. Our strength lies in our unity and our Russian natural kindness, which we, even today, led by our president, show towards our very unfriendly neighbors”.

The memorial inscription on the monument reads - children prisoners of fascism. 1941-1945
